Terms of Service for EveryDoc

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the EveryDoc mobile application and related software services provided by Mt. Aden LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using EveryDoc, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Scope of the Application
EveryDoc is a sovereign, client-side personal document vault and expiration tracker. The application allows users to capture document images, perform on-device OCR, manage expiration schedules, and synchronize encrypted backups using personal cloud providers (such as Apple iCloud or Google Drive).
2. User Responsibility & Key Custody
Because EveryDoc utilizes zero-knowledge client-side encryption, you are solely responsible for the retention and safekeeping of your 24-word recovery phrase and device passcodes. Mt. Aden LLC does not maintain copies of your encryption keys and cannot recover documents if your keys are lost.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use EveryDoc only for lawful personal document management. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, disassemble, or tamper with the application binary beyond applicable rights permitted by law.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
EveryDoc and its automated expiration alerts and OCR processing are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While on-device OCR strives for high accuracy, you are responsible for reviewing extracted expiration dates and document details. Mt. Aden LLC does not guarantee that notifications will prevent document lapses or regulatory penalties.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mt. Aden LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data resulting from device loss, hardware failure, or forgotten recovery credentials.
6. Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of EveryDoc following any changes signifies acceptance of the revised Terms.
