This Privacy Policy describes how Mt. Aden LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the WordSmith mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By using WordSmith, you consent to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

WordSmith may collect information you provide when you sign in with Apple or Google, including account identifiers needed to authenticate you. We do not ask you to create a separate password for WordSmith.

Your word lists, idioms, quizzes, and related content may be stored on your device and synced via iCloud so they stay available across your Apple devices. Dictionary lookups fetch definitions from the internet.

We may also collect usage data such as product interaction and advertising data, as described in Apple App Privacy labels.

4. How We Use Information

We use collected information to operate WordSmith (sign-in, lookups, sync, quizzes, and stories), process optional in-app purchases such as Remove Ads, improve reliability, and — when ads are enabled — show third-party advertising after quiz sessions.

5. Third-Party Services

WordSmith uses Apple Sign In, Google Sign In, Apple iCloud, the App Store (including StoreKit for purchases and restore), dictionary sources on the internet, and advertising partners when ads are shown. Those providers handle data according to their own policies.

6. Children's Privacy

WordSmith is rated 4+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated Effective Date at the top of this page.
